Houseplants bring joy and brighten up our space. Part of the fun of collecting plants is learning as you go but when you’ve spent money on the plants, you want to make sure they continue to thrive in your care, right?
Plant care and maintenance can be subjective, but there are a couple of things that you need to know and do consistently. With so much information out there, it can be confusing to know what is really important, so I’ve launched these once-off consultations to help YOU.
In a one-on-one session with me, you’ll learn the fundamentals of houseplant care and how it relates to your personal collection, so that you can have grow healthy plants!
These consultations are perfect for new plant parents or anyone who just needs a little help with their plants.
What does a consultation include?
Consultations take place in-person in Cape Town or online via Zoom. Sessions take place on weekdays and a set number of sessions are made available each month.
A typical consult will include a walk through of your home where I’ll assess the overall health of your plants, demonstrate how to water and care for them, and make suggestions of plants that would work well in you space.
We’ll discuss general plant care and it will be an opportunity for you to ask me anything!
How much does it cost?
Consultations range between R399 – R650 per hour.
- A 45 minute online session costs R399 which covers the consultation time and a personalised report which would be sent out after the session.
- An in-person session starts at R650 per hour, which covers the consultation time and a personalised report which would be sent out after the session.
Both packages include a free follow-up call one month after the session.

Britt is really knowledgeable about the tweaks and changes to make that suit your living space, budget and needs. A worthy endeavour if you're getting to know your plants and could do with a hand. I love that she brings equipment and tools that might be needed to make things easier. Highly recommended!

What an amazing experience with such extensive care to the little details. I learnt so much about how to take care of my plant babies. Brit was so professional and provided me with the knowledge that made taking care of my plants easy to understand and manage on a weekly basis. There is so much info online for newbie plant owners like me, but it's a little tricky figuring out what it all means for your own space and plants. And that's why having an at-home consultation with Brittany is so helpful.
She looked at where each of my plants was positioned, gave me suggestions, and reassured me that my plants weren't dying under my care! We also repotted a plant together, and I received a personalised plant care guide so I'm a lot more confident ahead of spring repotting season.
And I know exactly which plants to consider for my home next... sorry husband 🙂
